New UNESCO clubs started activity in Vitebsk, Gomel and Minsk regions of Belarus.
The month established by the current legislation for registration in the local executive committees of new UNESCO clubs which were set up at the previous meeting of the heads of RPO «BelAU» has passed. After registration clubs being organizational departments of RPO «BelAU» can set to work. There are 54 UNESCO clubs in Belarus now!
UNESCO club «Adradgenne» operates on the basis of Mior’s comprehensive school ¹3, Vitebsk region. The main objective of the club is popularization of Belarusian and foreign historical and cultural heritage among children and youth. Thanks to its geographical location at borders with Lithuania and Latvia the club is going to operate in frontier territory participating in programs of transboundary international cooperation.
UNESCO club «The inner world» operates on the basis of Zhlobin’s comprehensive school ¹13, Homel region. The main aim of the club is assistance in self-knowledge, self-development and self-improvement of participants by the means of realization of world’s culture and informal education programs. The club works on training course adaptation «Youth on advantage of a society», and also actively study and spread the information concerning children’s rights.
UNESCO club «Barisov youth parliament» operates on the basis of Barisov city center of creativity of children and youth. The main goal of the club is development of leadership qualities among teenagers who represent most dynamically developing student's self-management of Barisov schools. The club participates in realization of RPO «BelAU» programs such as «The world’s culture», «Informal education», «The healthy way of life» and «Information and communications».
